Other community services

In addition to accepting instructions with Legal Aid assistance and assisting the NSW Legal Aid Commission, we also contribute to the community in a number of other ways.

Law Society Pro Bono Scheme

Phang Legal recognises that quality legal advice and representation is often inaccessible to many individuals due to financial hardship. We attempt to bridge the gap by offering substantially discounted legal services to those in need. We also work closely with the Law Society Pro Bono Scheme, and with local legal centres. Please contact the Law Society Pro Bono Scheme on 02 9926 0379 or email email our Pro Bono Solicitor if you have any enquiries regarding our pro bono services.

Seniors Card

Phang Legal supports the Department of Ageing, Disability & Home Care initiative by offering free Wills or Power of Attorney to holders of the Seniors Card and as part of our estate planning services. We also offer discounts to senior card holders in other areas of law subject to circumstances and need. Supporting and servicing the elderly and aging population is important part of our practice and is part of our commitment to community service.

Religious organisations

Phang Legal has been recognised by several religious and community not for profit organisations for ongoing contribution and assistance. In addition to organisations such as Salvation Army, St Vincent de Paul Society, Anglicare, and Hillsong we also support smaller local churches and Christian groups. We actively assist these organisations by donating our time and services to them and their members on a voluntary or reduced rate basis. Please contact Ern Phang if you have any enquiries regarding his personal ministry and providing legal services.

Business Community

Phang Legal continues to develop strong relationships with and invest in the local business community. We are a member of the Parramatta Chamber of Commerce and the Sydney Hills Business Chamber, and we have also been actively involved with BNI. We continue to actively network within business, community and social circles. Our network of influence stretches from the Parramatta and Hills Districts, across the Sydney metropolitan area, interstate and overseas.
