Phang Legal provides Singaporean clients with legal services in Australia
We already service many clients in Singapore and Singaporean clients in Australia. Some look to take advantage of business or investment opportunities between Australia and Singapore, some are interested in a change of work and leisure lifestyle, while others are in search of better education and other opportunities for their children and family. Whatever your reason, you may probably be just one of the growing number of Singaporeans considering what Australia has to offer - and to us, you are our valued client.
Our ties with Singaporeans and with the Singaporean community in Australia is founded on strong personal relationships and years of service and trust. We also look forward to assisting you as we have assisted so many others. Our friendly staff converse in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Malay for your convenience.
Withdraw your CPF
If you have worked in Singapore, it is likely that you would have contributed funds to the Central Provident Fund (CPF) and if you subsequently leave Singapore permanently, you may be entitled to withdraw your CPF. As part of the application to withdraw your CPF, the supporting documents must be certified by a Notary Public or an official from the Singapore High Commission.
Sell your HDB flat
If you own a HDB flat in Singapore, but you are now living in Australia - you may need to appoint someone through power of attorney to deal with your HDB flat in your absence. The power of attorney should generally be prepared by your lawyer in Singapore and sent to you here to be signed and witnessed by a Notary Public or an official from the Singapore High Commission.
Our Notary Public services
We offer a cost effective alternative to attending the Singapore High Commission in Canberra by supporting Singaporeans who are applying to withdraw their CPF or appointing an attorney in Singapore with fast and hassle-free notary public services. Please note that notary public services in Australia are different to those available in Singapore, especially in relation to the associated fees. We offer a uniquely personal and professional service so that our clients can enjoy peace of mind and value for money. Our notary public fees are some of the lowest in Sydney.
