Calls for masks on NSW public transport

Making face masks a condition of entry/use isn’t a bad thing – especially crammed up on a confined space with strangers for a prolonged period of time. Social distancing just keeps people out of your extended personal space but doesn’t necessarily prevent you from inhaling the airborne particles swirling around the circulated air.
There are growing calls in NSW for people to wear masks on public transport, along with a push for passengers to be fined if they ignore physical distancing rules.
