How does the government vow not to have another round of restrictions / quasi-lockdown? Ultimately, it’s not up to them is it? It’s a response or delayed reaction to what the community does and what happens as a result of it. For example, if people ignore social distancing and refuse to take responsibility for their own precautions, then it’s left to the government and authorities to impose these things on the community – especially in response to a rise in infections. However, if the community as a whole take responsibility for themselves and adhere to social distancing guidelines (or dare we say it, wear masks), of course there would be little or no reason for further restrictions. Simple. Or it should be simple.
NSW has vowed it’ll do everything to avoid a second lockdown as coronavirus measures for hospitality venues are reinstated today.
