The Australia-China relationship is confusing, don’t you think so? Sometimes (a lot of times) Australia treats China as a national security threat… but we desperately need their international trade, for both imports and exports, and rely on their foreign investment.. but we don’t want their foreign ownership or influence. There’s the tit-for-tat squabbles with consular representatives and ministers (over human rights, or any kind of rights) but then bribery/foreign interference and political donations scandals. Now a travel bubble? The list goes on…
Australia is considering a future travel bubble arrangement with some Chinese provinces, Prime Minister Scott Morrison has revealed.
